  Formed in 2012, ECHO (Emerald Coast Honors Orchestra) is a dynamic, forward-thinking ensemble dedicated to bringing the excitement of modern music to the stage. Unlike traditional youth orchestras that focus mainly on classical repertoire, we specialize in performing music that connects with today’s audiences and inspires young musicians to explore new creative horizons. From the driving energy of rock and roll to the unforgettable themes of film and television soundtracks, our orchestra showcases the power and versatility of symphonic music in a fresh, modern way.

   A unique highlight of our program is our ongoing collaboration with the White Tie Rock Ensemble. Together, we create electrifying performances that blend the sophistication of orchestral sound with the raw energy of rock. Students have the rare opportunity to perform alongside professional rock musicians, learning how to bridge genres while experiencing firsthand the thrill of large-scale, live productions.

   Through these collaborations and innovative programming, ECHO provides its members with both solid musical training and unforgettable performance opportunities.
